What we offer

It is no secret that the weather here in Northwest Montana can be temperamental. In the span of only a few hours, we can experience rain, hail, snow, and sunshine. The harsh weather means that our gutters take a beating. For this reason, the gutter system you select for your home is of utmost importance. In addition to the proper system, consistent cleaning and maintenance are crucial to ensure function during those more severe months. We offer a variety of gutter related services, including gutter installation, cleaning, and repair. We are always open to expanding our business and our skillset and so if there is a service or product that you’re interested in that we don’t currently offer, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate you!

5” K-Style

We offer a seamless 5” K-Style gutter. These gutters are made custom to your home or building and are formed on site. The 5” gutter holds 1.2 gallons of water over a 1 foot span and is ideal for mellower pitched roofs. Although a variety of factors should be considered when choosing your gutter system, the 5” gutter is the most popular choice and will do a fantastic job on many homes out here in Northwestern Montana. A 5” gutter paired with a 2x3” downspout is also the most cost effective option. All of our K-Style gutters are offered in either aluminum, galvalume, or copper.

6” K-Style

Another popular option is our 6” K-Style gutter, also formed on site and completely custom. The 6” holds 2 gallons of water over a 1 foot span, nearly doubling its capacity of the 5” gutter! This is the ideal choice for steep pitched, large, and metal roofs, which often result in significant water run-off. It is also the perfect choice for anybody simply wanting the most effective gutter system available, with only a slight cost increase. If properly maintained, the 6” gutter paired with a 3x4” downspout is primed to handle anything that Montana can throw at it.

2x3” Downspout

The 2x3” downspout is most commonly paired with our 5” K-Style gutter systems. A 2x3” downspout will handle approximately 600 square feet of roof (or 600 gallons of run off per hour) and is best suited for small to medium sized homes with shallow pitched roofs and shorter gutter runs. The 2x3” downspout has a smaller physical footprint than its 3x4” counterpart, and is more cost effective. Both the 2x3” and 3x4” downspouts are offered in aluminum, galvalume, or copper, and in a variety of rectangular and round styles.

3x4” Downspout

The 3x4” downspout can be paired with both the 5” and 6” K-Style gutter systems. A 3x4"” downspout will handle around double the footage of roof, at 1,200 square feet (or 1,200 gallons of run off per hour). Although slightly more expensive, they are more effective at draining your gutters and with proper maintenance, can be less prone to clogging. 3x4” downspouts are a great (and recommended) option for structures with steep pitched roofs and areas with particularly intense run off.

Cleaning & Maintenance

No matter how perfectly designed and installed your gutter system might be, it is not a set it and forget it system. Especially here in Northwestern Montana, you must consistently clean and maintain your gutters to ensure proper function. We offer a one-time cleaning and maintenance service as well as a biannual (spring and fall) cleaning and maintenance package. Both include a thorough cleaning and flushing of your gutters as well as any reasonable maintenance.

Additional Services

Some additional services we offer here at Goldwater Gutters are the installation and upkeep of gutter guards, snow guards, and heat tape. Like gutters, many factors go into which guards are the appropriate choice for your building or home. Please reach out to us anytime through phone or email and we would be happy to find something that suits your needs!
